Zeichne seit ich 4 Jahre alt bin und habe mich nicht grossartig weiterentwickelt!
Erste Ausstellung ca. 1992 im Redhouse / Kiefernstrasse.
Danach kleinere Projekte hier und da, aber hauptsächlich in die eigene schublade gezeichnet!
Seit 4 Jahren mit dem SLOWBOY-Label aktiv. Design von Schallplattencovern, Plakaten, Flyern, T-shirts … Bevorzugte Arbeitsweise ist momentan der Siebdruck!
Günter Herke, born 1973, is part of the SLOWBOY COLLECTIVE (together with Andreas Ziegler and some freelancers. He started drawing when he was about 4 years old and by his own admission he didn’t really made great progress! Nevertheless he had his first exhibition in around 1992 at the Redhouse / Kiefernstraße in Düsseldorf. Smaller projects followed, but most of his drawings never made it to get out of his drawer. 2003 he started working under the Slowboy label. He designs disc covers, posters, flyers, t-shirts… At the moment he favors silkscreen.
